About Ashington
Ashington is a very welcoming village in the heart of West Sussex, approximately 10 miles from both Horsham and the south coast. It lies on the A24 road 3 miles northeast of Storrington, providing quick commuter access to the A24, A281 and M23.
Ashington has received two Village of the Year awards in the past and continues to prove a popular village in the local area.
Benefitting from a primary school, play park, leisure centre, as well as great pubs and restaurants, local businesses and shops. The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside and has a fascinating history. The ancient Anglican parish church is dedicated to St Peter and St Paul.
Metrobus operate bus route 23 which links the village to Worthing, Horsham and Crawley.
