Community Chest
We are very proud of our Community Chest scheme here at At Home Estate and Lettings Agency. Our vision is for the Community Chest scheme to encourage property sellers to donate a proportion of their fee to help support local, community based and volunteer run organisations of their choice.
Since launching the scheme in December 2017 we have been honoured to help and support a number of local communities including Know Dementia, Phoenix Stroke Association, Southwater Welcome Club, and Southwater Village Hall Pre-school and Southwater Junior FC as well as working with and supporting almost all of the schools in the district so far.
We are excited to announce that we are launching our new look Community Chest Scheme for 2024, our new fresh approach is designed to reach more local organisations, projects and charities to increase our support throughout our local area. Every quarter we will join forces with three local charities or organisations to take part in our Quarterly Community Chest vote. Voting will take place and the Community Chest Pot for that quarter will be divided between the three participants based on the voting results. “I’m delighted to be able to facilitate these donations. It’s what being a local business is all about as far as I’m concerned. We are part of the community and therefore we should do everything we can to support the community. For us, estate agency is not all about the money."
