Billingshurst village lies 8 miles south-west of Horsham located on the A29 road, it has a substantial and well-maintained high street, much like you’d find in a small town rather than a village. It still maintains a pleasant and charming village feel, with attractive old buildings alongside modern houses. The oldest parts of one of Billingshurst’s churches, St Mary’s, date from the 12th century.
The village has plenty of amenities, including library, children and family centre, and a primary and secondary school & sixth form college, The Weald School. The Weald School site contains a leisure centre with swimming pool and gym which is open to the public.
A new sports area, Jubilee Fields, contains football pitches, two cricket pitches and pavilion, a fishing lake, exercise path, and skatepark. Other facilities in the village include a tennis club and a lawn bowling club. There really is endless activities for all the family!
